Turning Pro - Lots To Do

Well, I must say that I thought I had my “eyes wide open”. I never thought I'd decide “I am a professional photographer” and next be on a plane traveling to an exotic location to do a shoot. I knew that there were other things that need to get done. I'd done some research and I have previously had started up businesses. All I have to say is that once I started digging into each topic in this article, my list of things to do grew exponentially.

I won't be covering everything. and to be truthful I will only touch on some of the things that I feel are really important. And yes, some of them will apply to starting any business.

Welcome to Vertical Images' Blog

Just sending out a welcome to all those that find themselves surfing Vertical Images.

The blog of Vertical Images will be any information that is related, either in whole or part, to photography. There is no real main subject matter of this blog, it only has to be related to photography. So please feel free to suggest topics that you may want to read about. This can be anything from techniques to gear to ideas and attitudes towards photography. I may not be an expert in every subject, but this will be part of the fun, and I will try to convey the level of my "knowledge" in the opening sections of articles. This is not only a good way for me to learn, but think of it as learning together. Maybe some of the mistakes I will make along the way will help others.

At this point in time I am committed to having at least one article written monthly. To whom have I committed you ask? Well myself, Vertical Images, and in mentioning this I am now committed to you.

So ... with that said welcome aboard, please stay in touch and Happy Canada Day and 4th of July celebrations.

Allan/Vertical Images.
